Please consider that this Calendar is written for the Zone 5b-7. Central Ohio is in zone 5b. This zone has -10F to -15F average annual minimum winter temperatures. Plants can be selected that are hardy to a colder zone, but those selected from a warmer zone are considered "marginally hardy" and may not survive an average winter. Gardeners can certainly install such plants, but should be aware that they may be lost eventually.
